Myrtle Beach City Council Voting Information

The Myrtle Beach City Council election is on November 7th. Polls are open 7am to 7pm. Even if you did not vote in the general election you can still vote in the runoff. For those who will not be in town, you need to send your absentee ballots in as soon as possible in order for the vote to count. You can also vote absentee in person at the Voter Registration and Elections office, located at 1515 4th Avenue in Conway.

To register to vote, go to SC VOTES  and click on “Download Voter Registration Form.”

To vote absentee, you must:

  • Be 65 years or older
  • Plan to be out of town on election day
  • Will have to work on election day

To get an absentee ballot:

  • Call 843-915-5440 (you can call now). Voter registration will mail you an application for absentee voting.
  • Complete the application and return it to Voter Registration.
  • 30 days before the election, Voter Registration will mail your absentee ballot.
  • Complete the ballot and return it to Voter Registration.
